Divine Intervention By Taking Back Sunday

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

This song is alittle confusing you have to listen to it or read
the lyrics about three times, but i think its about im guessing
it's about a relationship where the woman is pregnant and happy about it,
while the man is confused/upset. He doesn't want that to happen
and almost seems to push it away.

"Despondent, distracted,
You're vicious and romantic;"
He's not paying attention to how happy she is about this, but instead is distracted and doesn't know what to do.

"An act of God and nothing less will be accepted."
Saying children are an act of God and that she won't have an abortion, as maybe it goes against her religion.

"So if you're calling me out,
Then count me out."
Maybe the male saying that if the girl is calling him out to choose her and the child or nothing, he's out of there and not ready for that commitment.

"Five in the morning and out comes out pouring love"
Morning sickness from being pregnant.

This is the lyrics to the song.

Despondent, distracted,
You're vicious and romantic;
These are a few of my favorite things.
All of those flavors and this is what you choose.
Pass the blues, pass the blues,
And onto something new.

Something real,
Make it timeless.
An act of God and nothing less will be accepted.
So if you're calling me out,
Then count me out.

Yeah, we're stubborn and mellowdramatic,
A real class act.
You see I know a few of your favorite things.
Five in the morning and out comes out pouring love
Out the same way in.

Something real,
Make it timeless.
An act of God and nothing less will be accepted.
So if you're calling me out,
Then count me out.

Something real,
Make it timeless.
An act of God and nothing less will be accepted.
I said real,
Make it timeless.
An act of God and nothing less will be accepted.
So if you're calling me out..
Then count me out.

What's It Feel Like To Be A Ghost by Taking Back Sunday

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
The first song on Taking Back Sunday's first major label release, the band has stated that it should really be called "What it feels like to go home," meaning that the song is about how they were treated by the people they left behind when they went on tour.

Vindicated by Dashboard Confessionals

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

The song is about a boy hoping for someting good to come along. He's regretful of screwing things up with this gril he's in love with and sees that he had a chance but didn't take it and should have at least tried. He thinks of himself as sick and being wrong and right at the same time. Being wrong about the gril not liking him but right about taking a chance. He's trying to clean up for her but live his life because if he does he can get another chance and still be able to live his life. He's seeing the things that hte girl saw and didn't want to be bothered with a changing. He motivates himself to being with her. Then he kisses her and he doesn't want the momenet to ever end and finally he takes his second chance and gets with her. Yet his hope tangles on astring he plans to make it work. Meaning his hope is thin but the little bit of hope he wanted is still there even though it took so long it was worth it.

Fall For You By Secondhand Serenade

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
This song was his first song "Secondhand Serenade" wrote on the piano.
It
started when he was practicing,
and sooner or later it hit him.
He started to hear a melody in his head.
Few hours later, it was done.
It was about something that was going
on with his life at the time.
This song is really about a relationship slowly
deteriorating to a point where it seems that there
is absolutely no way to keep it.
It takes you through various stages of the relationship
up until the point where it seems useless to continue on, and then something happens.
You see a glimpse of what your life would be like without
that special person and you realize how much you need them
.

Shadow of The Day by LinkinPark

Image and video hosting by TinyPic
What does this song truly mean?
It is about a person thinking about a friend
who is suffering from depression or
a physical illness.
He talks about how sometimes it is easier to just stop trying,
even though everyone wants you to push forward.
Life isn't nearly as simple as it seems, and sometimes giving up is the best
solution.

Viva La Vida By Coldplay

Image and video hosting by TinyPic This song is a very interesting song it talks about history...
Well, most people seem to think that the song depicts the reign of Napoleon I of France. I'm inclined to believe that as well, for several reasons:

Album cover depicts the French flag, and what appears to be a sort of uprising for the French people (probably pointing to the fact that Napoleon was overthrown and exiled to St. Helena)

The lyrics of the song strongly point to Napoleon and his reign over France in lines such as:

+ "I used to rule the world"

+ "Listen as the crowd would sing:
"Now the old king is dead, long live the king!"

+ "Revolutionaries wait
For my head on a silver plate"

+ "People couldn't believe what I'd become "

And although certain parts of the song don't seem to immediately correspond with the time-line of Napoleon's reign I did a little digging and found out some interesting things.

+ The line "I hear Jerusalem bells a ringing" most likely refers to St. Mary's Church in Lübeck, Germany, the most prominent church of it's kind in Germany. It was under Napoleonic rule, but after he was overthrown, that area of Napoleonic Germany became part of Prussia (known adversaries of Napoleon)

+ "I know Saint Peter won't call my name" Saint Peter is the the guardian of the gates of Heaven in the Bible. It makes sense that Napoleon wouldn't be granted passage into heaven because of the atrocities he committed and because of the simple fact he wasn't at all religious.

+ "Roman calvary choirs are singing" most people think this refers to the ancient Roman Empire, however, I believe it refers to the Holy Roman Empire, which was dissolved after the Napoleonic Wars in 1806.

--------------------------------------...

Because of all the research I've done, I can safely say that the song Viva La Vida most likely refers to the life and reign of Napoleon Bonaparte of France. Hope that's what you were looking for

Musical Life

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Music? Why would we need it? Music just makes life even more alive than it is now. Songs on the radio, it expresses how you feel. For example: Fall For You by Secondhand Serenade. Its about a guy and a girl. The guy falls in love again.

Music makes people want to live again. It makes their emotions. In my opinion i would think music creates life. It can make you feel sad, angry, depressed, and many more emotions you can think of.

Music just equals your life.
